The Janet Mahilum Danny Haydock Family Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Janet Mahilum Haydock in 2009. This foundation started as a four year pilot project to assist high school students in the community of Toboso, Negros Occidental. This was the community she lived in before she met her husband, Danny Haydock, through pen pal writing. Her pilot project took off successfully and grew rapidly. As a result, the Filipino-Canadian who migrated to Canada decided to expand the foundation and aid students through vocational and university level education. With the help of generous friends and part time jobs, the Janet Mahilum Danny Haydock Family Foundation is continuously supported and strives to help the Filipino community in need.
